Sit Exquisite, 2025

A low-profile chair that repurposes a framed tatami mat from Sleep Exquisite, a Japanese furniture and bedding store I first visited as a child. The removable mat sits within an English walnut frame with a natural live edge and brass pin joinery, reflecting my long-standing interest in East Asian interiors and floor-level living.

Exhibited in Forms of Living, curated by Nadia Khagani at Sunbeam Studio, as part of Los Angeles Design Weekend 2025.
