Squiggle Story is a short documentary about the trials and tribulations of building an 80's-era "Squiggle Lamp.”

The film is comprised of ad hoc phone footage from 2020 documenting a squiggle lamp project. I had just read David Lynch’s Catching the Big Fish and wanted to take a deeper look into media normally checked off for deletion. Browsing a folder "Lamp Footage," I felt an urgency to comment on the process of building the lamp.
